This position is responsible for assisting the operator of the vac-con truck in the day to day cleaning of the Stormwater catch basins, pipes and culverts within the street rights of way. What you’ll be doing: + Performing manual labor in support of public works projects + Following established safety procedures and utilizing safety equipment + Operating a variety of machinery, equipment, and tools associated with department projects + Assisting in streets and sidewalk projects, as well as stormwater drainage system construction and maintenance + Assisting during emergency weather events and other activities, as assigned + Processing documentation associated with department/division operations + Performing other related duties as required Benefits: + Competitive salary range: $19.40 Hourly + Comprehensive benefits package + Non-exempt FLSA status + Equal employment opportunity About you: We know your time is valuable.
