Job Description

The design team at Jellyfish is a global team of multidisciplinary designers. We provide experience strategy, user research, product design, interaction design, and communication design to both our international client base and internal company initiatives. 

As a UX designer, you'll be involved in the end-to-end design process: from research and strategy to execution and delivery and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary teamPlan and estimate the right process to reach project goals and client objectives.Facilitate stakeholder and design team workshopsConduct evaluative research activities such as heuristic analysis, competitive analysis and behaviour analysisPlan and run moderated/unmoderated usability testsSynthesise research into actionable insights, concepts and solutionsDefine information architecture with sitemaps, user flows, and components mappingModel interactions through process diagrams, task flows and interaction diagrams as neededCreate sketches, wireframes and working prototypes as needed to articulate design directionCreate design mockups and style guidesBrief UI designers and Developers

QualificationsExcellent design portfolio showing process and outcomesMinimum 3 years of work experience in a similar roleDegree in design related field or equivalent work experience or trainingClear UX design processExperience designing digital productsExperience conducting user research studies and synthesising resultsFamiliar with usability heuristicsPossess brilliant layout, colour theory, typography skills and, sharp attention to detail Good working knowledge of core interface and interaction design principles (grids, hierarchy, mobile first, responsive, patterns, platform conventions, accessibility standards and so on)Ability to create intuitive and engaging UI screens and user flowsExperience creating bespoke Design SystemsSolid experience of a variety of design and prototyping tools, especially FigmaFamiliarity with core web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS and so on)Advanced English
