What you'll do + Research & Strategy: + Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research (e.g., interviews, usability tests, surveys, diary studies, data analysis) to uncover insights. + Define user problems and behavioral patterns across different fintech user personas (e.g., consumers, SMBs, enterprise clients). + Partner with product managers and stakeholders to align research goals with product vision and business needs. + Create personas, journey maps, experience flows, and other artifacts to inform product and design strategies. + Advocate for continuous discovery and user empathy throughout the product lifecycle. + UX & Interaction Design: + Translate research insights and product goals into low- to high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and user flows. + Design intuitive, accessible, and scalable user interfaces for web and mobile applications. + Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback and performance metrics. + Maintain and evolve design systems in line with brand and product guidelines. + Cross-Functional Collaboration: + Work within agile product teams and contribute to sprint planning and reviews. + Present research findings and design solutions clearly to cross-functional teams and stakeholders. + Help foster a user-centered culture across product and engineering teams. What you'll need + 3+ years of experience as a UX Designer, UX Researcher, or UX Generalist in product teams, ideally within fintech, SaaS, or banking. + Strong portfolio showcasing both research methods and design work (from wireframes to final UI). + Proficiency with research tools (e.g., Dovetail, Maze, Lookback) and design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD). + Solid understanding of interaction design principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and user-centered methodologies. + Strong communication and collaboration skills — able to lead discussions and influence decisions. + Familiarity with data privacy, compliance, and financial UX best practices. Good to have: + Background working with regulated financial institutions or familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS). + Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms or multi-user B2B workflows. + Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), inclusive design, and ethical research practices. + Familiarity with design systems (e.g., Material, Tailwind UI) and component libraries. + Knowledge of product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude) and how they support UX validation.
