**Minimum qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 4 years of experience in front-end development, technical UX design, or prototyping. + Experience in application development in at least one platform/area (e.g., web, iOS, Android, CompDes, XR). + Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. **Preferred qualifications:** + 5 years developing responsive, adaptive, and performant websites and applications. + 5 years of experience as a front-end developer, UX Engineer, creative or design technologist, or in a prototyping design environment. + Experience in Web UI performance and animation. + Experience with mobile UI development (e.g.,Kotlin, Swift). + Knowledge of establishing and managing a design system and in building AI-powered experiences. + Excellent Data science skills. We're creating a team of User Experience (UX) Engineers to build delightful, performant, and ready-to-use production components for our Engineering partners to greatly increase the speed with which Meet can deliver new features. AI will change the future of work in profound ways, and our products— Gmail, Docs, Drive, Calendar, Sheets, Vids and Meet are at the forefront. From pre-computed summaries for email threads, summaries for meetings, and videos created from a document using lifelike AI avatars, our AI opportunity is huge. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$185,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
