Description Employer: Amazon Web Services, Inc. Position: UX Designer III Location: Bellevue, WA Multiple Positions Available: 1. Collaborate with project management and user experience teams to craft useful, usable, and desirable products. 2. Understand customers and their needs through market analysis, customer research, and feedback, and use business requirements to assist in developing use cases and high-level requirements. 3. Design the architecture, interfaces, and interactions of services and experiences. 4. Develop assets at varying levels of fidelity: quick whiteboard sketches, wireframes, mid- and high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes. 5. Facilitate the design process, present and iterate on design solutions. 6. Craft, pitch, and validate long-term design strategies. 7. Pair with engineering to deliver high-quality, iterative experiences. 8. Facilitate user testing activities to validate design direction. Continually iterate and evolve the way we design for and learn from our customers. Basic Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial & Management Systems Engineering, Art, Architecture, Urban Design or a related discipline and 3 years of experience in job offered or user experience design or information architect related occupation. Experience must include: 1. 3 years of experience creating software design solutions and scalable dynamic user interfaces for large-scale, multi-tiered platforms using web design principles and technologies, including Wireframe Applications, Photoshop, Axure, HTML or prototyping tools. 2. 3 years of experience collaborating with developers for implementation of designs. 3. 3 years of experience rationalizing designs across crossfunctional groups The pay range for this position in Bellevue, WA is $137,800.00 - $186,400.00 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
