As our UX Designer, you have the desire to tackle exciting and meaty customer problems. Whether it’s using design thinking techniques to drive ideation and alignment or bringing a prototype to your user for a quick experiment, you can identify and implement the right steps towards solving a problem. You recognize the value of well-crafted design along with inventiveness and play in building great products within a business environment. You also have a passion for good interaction and visual design, you can craft end-to-end experiences to innovative retail strategies; balancing user needs with business strategy and ultimately creating delight for your customers. You love to work hand in hand with your users to build a more effective and efficient experience for them. You might not consider yourself a researcher, but you have solid awareness of research standard processes and know that research is the foundation towards good design. You can also use evaluative approaches to iteratively improve your products.
You'll have...
• Bachelor’s Degree in UX/Interaction/Product Designer/Visual Design working across a breadth of digital media or a combination of education and equivalent experience
• 1+ years of UX experience in an Enterprise, ecommerce, or online mobile retail environment
• 1+ years of experience working with agile software development teams and design software such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Portfolio of work demonstrating ability to create customer experiences across a range of touch-points as well as proficiency in UI and interaction design with case studies
Even better, you may have...
• Master’s degree in UX/Interaction/Product Designer/Visual Design working across a breadth of digital media or a combination of education and equivalent experience
• Experience conducting discovery and user validation interviews
• Experience crafting full-service consumer and business applications
• Expert visual design acumen demonstrated through owning product design end-to-end.
• Ability to create interactive experiences with prototyping software or by hand.
• Exposure to paired programming and Agile/Lean methodologies
• Understanding of modern front-end technologies and frameworks
• Experience designing e-commerce experiences; bonus points in designing for global markets!
• Desire to thrive in a fast-moving environment!

• Present to business, design, and executive-level leadership and support your design rationale using quantitative data and site metrics, customer feedback, and usability findings.
• Designs lean, iterative, and development-ready solutions that can scale for the future, but understands the technology constraints of the now.
• Thinks deeply about the user experience balanced with business goals to advise their designs.
• Collaborate with the product team (Product Designers, Project Manager, Software Engineers) through the user-centered design process with collaborative workshops for discovery and ideation.
• Engage and encourage the product organization about our customers' experiences through powerful story-telling with the human-centered design process, research insights, and customer journeys.
