Essential Job Duties:
The Housekeeper position at UNC -Chapel Hill is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized environment in Graham Memorial. Core duties include cleaning and upkeep of lounges, classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas; performing floor care and trash collection; and assisting with furniture and equipment setup for both large and small events. The role also supports occasional special projects such as painting, pressure washing, and leaf blowing. By ensuring all spaces are well-maintained and event-ready, this position plays a key role in supporting the daily operations and welcoming atmosphere of Honors Carolina.
Required Qualifications:
+ Ability to lift / move 50 lbs.
+ Ability to follow directions and follow safety guidelines.
+ Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
+ Ability to read and understand room diagrams and multiple planning calendars
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Two years of previous professional Housekeeping experience.
