JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Position Title: Utility Person

Shift: 2nd Shift 12:00 - 08:00 PM

Location: Cactus, TX

Reports to: Terminal Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:                                     

Safely shuttle various types of trailers for our customers.Operating company equipment and tractors, maintaining its good working condition.Inspecting trailers and ensuring the proper trailer is being loaded. Safely assist in unloading cattle. Other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS:                              

Able to safely operate the company’s tractors, trailers, and other equipment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.Available to work a non-traditional schedule, including weekends.Capable of developing and maintaining good working relationships with customers and employees. A proven team player, dependable, and reliable.CDL license not required, but experience hauling trailers is strongly preferred.

 

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;Better Futures Program: 2 Year Community College tuition paid for you or your dependents;Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; Base salary range of $19-$21.00 per hour
