Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Utility Service Technicians for projects located in and around Raleigh, NC. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $23/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Detect cross-bored wastewater lines and collect field data using ESRI GPS software
Establish safe work zones (traffic cones, signs, etc.)
Prepare and maintain CCTV robots and equipment under operator’s direction
Dispatch tractor units securely into pipes using crane or hook
Mark job site locations with utility marking paint
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Must pass background check & pre-employment drug screen (required)
Ability to obtain DOT Medical Certification as required by project location
Ability to walk 2–5+ miles per day on varied terrain and in all weather conditions
Comfortable working with sewer and wastewater utility lines
Able to lift 50 lbs. of equipment regularly throughout the day
Experience with utility lines preferred; some training available with basic knowledge
Proficient with smartphones, tablets, and computers
