TalentWorld is looking for a Utility Project Manager – Data Centers to join a leading data design and colocation services provider in Montreal, QC.
This role is key in managing utility-related infrastructure projects (power, water, gas), ensuring optimal service delivery and integration across critical data center environments in North America.

Responsibilities of the Utility Project Manager – Data Centers:
Manage end-to-end utility infrastructure projects aligned with data center needs
Coordinate with electricity, water, and gas utility providers to secure optimal connections
Oversee installation/upgrade of systems (power distribution, HVAC, backup generators, water treatment)
Develop and track budgets and timelines, ensuring cost control and project efficiency
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, permits, and environmental standards
Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams for integration
Negotiate favorable terms with utility providers and subcontractors
Lead energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
Conduct site visits to oversee and inspect utility installations
Qualifications for the Utility Project Manager – Data Centers position:
5+ years of experience in utility project management or infrastructure planning
Strong knowledge of electrical, HVAC, water, and gas systems
Experience working with utility providers, regulators, and construction stakeholders
Understanding of permitting, environmental standards, and applicable codes
Excellent project management and multitasking abilities
Bilingual (French & English) preferred
PMP certification or equivalent is an asset
Willing to travel frequently
