Job Title: Utility Operator

Mar Petcare is looking for a Utility Operator to join our exciting Nutro business at one of our manufacturing plants located in Kansas City, Mo.

The Utility Operator is responsible for general packaging and other basic production duties as assigned. May be required to operate other production equipment as needed.
Responsibilities
Conducting basic manufacturing activities to support the production and packaging of Greenies and Pill Pockets. This includes but not limited to the following activities:Moving product from one area to anotherFeeding bags into the product lineConducting inventory and other administrative duties as requiredDemonstrate a food safety quality culture in actions, words and spirit.Conducting and managing inventory and other administrative duties as requiredAssisting with basic preventative maintenance work as assigned (CIL’s)Wearing the required Mars uniform and PPE.Conduct sanitation activities as requiredPerform quality checksAbility to work in a self-directed manner with a positive attitude.Must be reliable, conscientious, punctual, and have a good work ethic.No previous manufacturing experience is required but must have the mechanical aptitude to succeed.Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma/GEDStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic computer skills – Preferably iPadBasic math and measuring skills; enjoys hands-on working environment and problem-solvingDemonstrated ability to work in a team environment; must be coachablePassion to work and learn in a manufacturing environmentAbility to adapt to changing environment – ResiliencyPhysical Requirements:
