Job description:1. Team member will be required to lean and be able to perform every job in the Hatchery.2. Job duties may include, but are not limited to, egg setting, Embrex machine setup, Embrex vaccinator, tray wash, chick delivery, hatcher cleaning, chick coordinator, egg residue breakout, pallet jack and forklift operation, egg separation operation, facility clean up, egg set up, formaldehyde placement, and glycol replacement.
3. Normal work schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 5:00 am to 3:30 pm. Days and times are subject to change based on the Hatchery’s requirements.
4. Must be able to work most holidays.
5. Must abide by all biosecurity rules and not own a flock of poultry (unless Tyson flock).
6. Must be able to work in hot and dusty environments.
7. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. from ground level to a height of 6 ½ feet maximum repeatedly.
8. Must be able to become pallet jack and forklift licensed within 10 days of bid.
9. Must be able to obtain a Class E driver’s license within 10 days.
10. Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
11. Must be able to work productively without direct supervision.
12. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
13. Must be able to communicate with team member and management.
14. Must abide by all departmental safety rules.
