Summary
•    Responsible for continuous/uninterrupted supply of components to the production Fry and Prep area used in producing food products in a safe, timely and efficient manner. 
•    Will be working around the Fryer, Kettles, Can Opener, Meat Room, and Urschel, in processing the various items for the assembly lines. 
•    Understand and demonstrate proper handling of components in accordance with USDA, HACCP, and plant recipe guidelines. 
•    Must insure GMPs and Safety regulations are followed at all times. 
•    Understand the importance of product rotation and time/temperature guidelines from USDA. 
•    Responsible for returning products to freezer/cooler and ensuring proper identification. 
•    Reports any deviation to product quality, machinery, or standards to appropriate level of supervision. 
•    Understands and demonstrates changeover and sanitation requirements.


Requirements
•    Inspects components during Fry/Prep process and changeover to ensure highest quality level is maintained. Understand proper component usage for various products
•    Understands and demonstrates correct use of color coding system of luggers and trash cans; disposes of sub-standard product in correct method


Qualifications

•    Must be able to communicate
•    Must have basic math skills (add, subtract, divide, multiply); can use calculator
•    Stand, reach, bend; may lift up to 50 lbs., but frequently lift 20-40 lbs. Able to follow GMPs and adhere to USDA guidelines for food/sanitary guidelines
•    Works well with others and ability to meet required work/quality demands of production Prep and Fry area; reports to work station with proper PPE and on time
•    Work with minimum supervision and capable of traveling throughout production area for designated tasks
•    Evaluation of performance is to take place within first 120 hours of beginning job


Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the team member works around moving machinery. The team member is exposed to hot/cold/refrigerated product, loud noise, and wet floors, which may become slippery. Team member must be aware of their surroundings. Team member at no time can place any part of body into moving machinery.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

•    Assist as directed by Team Leader or Production Team Leader.
•    Supplies desired product as Production Line demands in correct rotation order
•    Ensure that product conforms to recipe specification
•    Ensure Time and Temperature sheets are properly gathered and stored where applicable
•    Ensure utensils and support equipment are properly handled and returned during/after use
•    Understands lock out tag out procedures
•    Ensure proper placement of smock; proper placement when disposing of gloves, hairnets, inedible foods and other supplies/materials in appropriate designated bins/containers
•    Obtain/return all luggers, carts, trays and other supporting equipment to designated area
•    Performs other duties as assigned by lead or supervisor
•    Must maintain a clean environment around work area at all times. Ensure no items are stored on electrical boxes or panels
•    Other duties may be assigned as needed.

1.    Safety Rules and GMPs in area. Time & Temperature log sheets
2.    Product Quality Standards
3.    Production Personal Protective Equipment
Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•    Understands their role in manufacturing of quality food products


Compensation

The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $14.75/hr + $1.50/hr shift differential

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
