Key Responsibilities As a Utility Dining Attendant, you will play an essential role in providing high-quality dining service to our guests. You will be responsible for supporting the service team and ensuring that food and beverage operations are executed seamlessly. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to provide outstanding service will help make every guest’s experience a memorable one.

Service Excellence: Consistently support the service team in achieving Food & Beverage targets by following all Service Excellence standards. Take ownership of delivering a consistent product and service experience that meets all standards, ensuring both guest and teammate satisfaction. Address any guest or teammate issues promptly and work collaboratively with others to resolve them effectively. Embrace and utilize MedallionClass products, services, and applications to enhance guest experiences. Dining Area Setup & Service: Ensure the correct setup and presentation of dining areas, maintaining brand standards at all times. Assist with the timely delivery of food & beverage items, clear and clean tables, and maintain the cleanliness of the dining areas. Maintain stock levels of food, beverage, or hotel items, and replenish as needed to ensure seamless service. Assist in the delivery of food and beverage service as directed, ensuring service standards are followed. Guest and Teammate Interaction: Be knowledgeable of onboard products, offerings, itinerary, and port information to provide guests with helpful assistance as needed. Ensure all guest and teammate orders are accurately recorded and processed using the onboard POS system. Health, Safety, and Compliance: Report any Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) related issues promptly to the supervisor or leader on duty. Perform General Emergency Procedures confidently and promptly as per company directives. Follow company guidelines for handling garbage, biohazardous, and sharps waste, ensuring proper sorting and disposal. Support the creation of a safe and compliant environment while committing to Operation Oceans Alive. Maintain compliance with company brand and Health, Environmental, Safety, and Security (HESS) standards. Keep up-to-date with public health standards, ensuring compliance and reporting any issues immediately. Additional Responsibilities:Assist with sanitation efforts as directed, especially in outbreak situations requiring increased cleanliness and hygiene.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Proven F&B Experience: At least 1 year of experience in roles such as Restaurant Waiter, F&B Runner, or similar positions in the food and beverage industry. Public Health Knowledge: Basic understanding of public health and sanitation regulations and procedures. Organizational Skills: Ability to organize work efficiently and meet deadlines. Food & Beverage Knowledge: Working knowledge of food and beverage products, services, and general restaurant operations. Communication Skills: Good command of the English language, both verbal and written. Guest Service Focus: A strong foundation in guest service with the ability and willingness to deliver exceptional service to our guests. Motivated & Caring: Motivated to excel in all aspects of job duties with a warm, friendly, and caring personality. A passion for surprising and delighting guests throughout their cruise experience. Teamwork & Professionalism: Commitment to maintaining professional and courteous working relationships in a diverse, multicultural environment.
