**99454BR** **Job Title:** Utility (Cottonseed) - Valdosta, GA **Department/Function:** Operations: Manufacturing, Production, Maintenance, Utilities **Job Description:** **Utility (Cottonseed) - Valdosta, GA** **Pre-Requisites:** + Must be able to stand for long periods of time. + Must be able to work outside for long periods of time in all weather conditions. + Must be able to climb stairs and ladders. + Must be able to work at heights. + Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis. **Job Description:** As a UTILITY WORKER, the essential duties & responsibilities will include, but not limited to: + General housekeeping, including but not limited to, sweeping and keeping assigned area clean. + Adheres to all safety and process requirements. + Maintains awareness and adheres to all GMP, EPA, OSHA, and employer standards and guidelines. + Inform supervisor immediately of any hazards, unsafe equipment and/or acts. Additionally, reports immediately any accidents, injuries and near misses to supervisor. + Work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by complying with all department and plant safety policies regarding the use of hard hats, hearing protection, safety glasses and other personal protective equipment. + Work in teams by maintaining good communication and cooperation with other department operators and management in order to achieve efficient production processes in all areas. + Operate basic equipment, limited to portable air compressors. + Be able to use basic tools, including but not limited to, shovels, brooms, pressure washers, and other hand tools. + Supplying materials to the production areas. + Maintenance, lubrication, and housekeeping duties are considered as part of the duties of all job classifications. + Able to temporarily step up to a production worker when needed.
