This is how we enable sustainable mobility and help to prevent accidents caused by human error.Want to join us?Your role:As a Process Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Excellence Center of Aptiv and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes in order to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality related to the processes while complying with the internal procedures of Aptiv.Leading all development activities per PDP/ADP with limited supervisionMaintaining engineering documentationCoordinating prototyping from source to build with supervisionAnalyzing build results, draws conclusion, implements changesGiving input about quality of componentsProviding input to DFMEA/PFMEAPerforming tasks required to assemble ME quote input with supervisionReviewing/correcting test reports. Drawing conclusions, proposing changesFulfilling and leading machine tests, benchmarkingDefining new test requirements and proceduresLeading simple problem solving activitiesBeing familiar with BOD, BOP & lessons learnedUtilizing all analytical tools.Working in compliance with Aptiv & Customer Specific RequirementsParticipation in development of technical specification for new devices and softwareConducting training for workers, who are located in manufacturing plantsCollaboration with suppliersStaying abreast with market conditions & trends.Your background:B.S or M.S in technical field Mechanics or equivalent, Industrial background (Materials engineering is a plus)1 to 3 years experience in a similar positionFluent in Portuguese and EnglishExperience in the use of Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to plan and prioritize own taskAbility to read technical drawings & documentationAbility to travel across EMEA up to 30%Why join us?You can grow at Aptiv.
