User Experience Engineer Intern, PhD, Summer 2026

This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus. **Minimum qualifications:** + Currently pursuing a PhD degree in Computer Science, HCI, Design, or related technical field. + Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. + Experience in designing and implementing user interfaces (UIs). **Preferred qualifications:** + Currently attending a degree program in the US and available to work full time for 12 weeks outside of university term. + In penultimate academic year or returning to a degree program after completion of the internship. + Experience in JavaScript and frontend frameworks (Angular2+, Vue, React) + Experience in development or prototyping. + Experience coding in Go, Python, C++, Java, Kotlin, Objective C, Swift or similar Google User Experience (UX) is made up of multi-disciplinary teams of UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers: we care deeply about the people who use our products. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $101,000-$135,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
