Credence has an immediate need for a professional Course Facilitator for operational military education to support the U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command (USAFSOC) course at the USAF Special Operations School (USAFSOS). This visible position requires an individual who is committed to continuous improvement, motivated, punctual, and dependable.
The Course Facilitator supports the Special Operations Task Group course and warfighting education at the USAF Special Operations School. Responsibilities include collaborative needs identification and analysis, subject matter expert input in the preparation and delivery of online and classroom instruction, student and program assessment, and course maintenance and administration. Occasionally, the Course Facilitator may be assigned special projects, support instruction in other courses, or serve as an advisor/subject matter expert during the analysis phase of new programs of instruction. This position requires occasional travel to support course execution.
This position is based at Hurlburt Field, FL.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below Facilitate courses with a high level of professionalism and integrity.Continuously improve instructional methods and tools to enhance learning outcomes.Demonstrate motivation and a proactive approach to teaching and learning.Ensure punctuality and dependability in all aspects of the role.Engage with students and staff in a respectful and supportive manner.Collaborate on needs identification and analysis.Provide subject matter expert input for course preparation and delivery.Assess students and programs and maintain and administer courses.Occasionally undertake special projects and support other courses.Serve as an advisor/subject matter expert during the analysis phase of new programs. Education, Requirements and Qualifications Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. (An active Secret clearance preferred.)A bachelor’s degree or higher in related field, (advanced academic degree).Prior experience facilitating workshops, courses, or training events.Prior experience as a mission commander.Experience conducting classroom exercises to enhance students' understanding and prepare them for military leadership roles. Adaptability, solution-oriented mindset, and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Desired Experience:
Graduate of, or previous instructor experience at one or more of the following schools or equivalents: SAAS, SAMs, JAWs, SAWs, JMPE II, JTFSBC, Air University LeMay Center. Graduate of the Joint Planning Support Element (JPSE) Joint Planners Course, Joint Information Planners Course (JIPC), Special Forces Course, Ranger School, STS, Joint Operation Planning and Execution System (JOPES), Senior NCO Academy, or similar is highly preferred. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements Able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Work in an office environment with distractions.Extended periods of sitting or standing may be required.
