As a Specialty Equipment Food Technician at our local retail store, your role will require you to diagnose, repair and perform any preventative maintenance duties for our specialty equipment.  In addition, you will be responsible for developing preventative maintenance schedules and complete assigned PMs in the timeframe outlined, as well as conducting training for Store Associates.

Competitive Compensation: 

Salary range: $45,760 - $72,800 

Currently offering a $2000 sign-on bonus (for select locations)  

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, level of job offer, qualifications and other job-related factors. 

Additional bonus available for this role is available and will be disclosed during the interview process (not included above).

Essential Functions: 

Maintain Preventative Maintenance for all General Maintenance trades in a region of approximately 28 Walmart stores  

Complete and adhere to all training requirements to safely operate and maintain food service equipment  

Must be able to log into and utilize industry standard work order management system to accept and complete work requests  

Conduct daily inspections after service by walking the area and checking for cleanliness and repair needs  

Provide training to Store Associates weekly regarding care and cleaning of equipment  

Evaluate asset condition and submit recommendations for replacement to management  

Develop and maintain parts inventory required to support preventative maintenance program in assigned area  

 

Position Requirements: 

5+ years of service experience in commercial maintenance  

Familiarity with operating and performing service of equipment including programming and installation

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00-$39.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade or 5 years' experience in one of the following trades: plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade.
Valid Driver's License.
Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
