We are looking for a visionary Principal Product Manager to lead our API strategy and platform capabilities in the Catalog domain. This role will be instrumental in designing scalable, secure and performant API’s that powers marketplace catalog ingestion, enrichment and classification for millions of SKU’s across our ecosystem. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, data science, UX, business and external partners to define a modern, extensible catalog item API’s that supports internal tools, seller integrations, and AI/ML applications.
What You'll Do:
· Own the Marketplace Catalog item API strategy and roadmap for item onboarding, attributes, taxonomy.
· Define product requirements and technical specifications for API’s that serve internal and external consumers at scale.
· Partner with engineering to design RESTful and GraphQL API’s, ensuring they meet SLA’s, scalability and security standards.
· Work with seller teams and platform partners to define item API contracts, specs for item setup and maintenance
· Analyze usage data customer feedback and developer pain points to continuously improve item API usability and performance.
· Represent catalog API’s in company wide platform initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader data and commerce architecture.
What you bring:
· 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years focused on API platforms or developer products.
· Proven experience designing and launching large scale, customer facing API’s (REST, GraphQL, gRPC)
· Familiarity with API security, governance, and documentation standards (e.g. OAuth2, OpenAPI/Swagger)
· Strong technical fluency in engaging with engineering on data models, event driven architecture and microservices.
· Exceptional analytical, prioritization and communication skills.
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field; MBA or advanced technical degree is a plus.
Nice to have:
· Experience in catalog, product information management or ecommerce platforms
· Prior work with seller platforms, marketplaces or supplier onboarding system
· Familiarity with event streaming architectures (e.g. Kafka) and data contracts
· Contributions to internal developer portals or platform productization efforts.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
