In Quality Control our goal is simple: build trust with our members by ensuring we provide the highest quality fresh food when they shop with us – online or in-store. Fresh foods – produce, meat, deli, and bakery – are dynamic businesses that require clear planning and execution to provide great quality to our members. Our clubs need QC to provide consistent quality so they can delight our members. Suppliers also need to trust that we’ll treat them fairly while maintaining the high-quality standards we expect from them.
What you’ll do…
The Seafood QC Manager position is a strategically critical role at Sam’s Club. You have a dual role: inspecting case-ready seafood as it is produced in a third-party supplier facility while also analyzing the quality to prioritize where Sam’s Club can have the biggest impact. You interact with plant management to show them areas to improve quality as well as work with the seafood merchandising team to ensure the merchant vision is being executed on the plant floor. Strong communication skills are also critical, because you’ll work with many supply-chain partners – merchandising/sourcing, distribution, technology teams, and suppliers. You’ll have the opportunity to use design-thinking for process improvement and to support the development of new systems and processes. Our members depend on QC to drive quality and shelf life, and you are part of the team that makes it happen.

The annual salary range for this position is $88,000.00-$171,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
