**Duration: 12 months (possible Extension)** **Summary:** The Contract Analyst will support the Health Care Provider and Health Care Organization engagements including driving execution of agreements for Medical Affairs global interactions in the Kidney Care business unit. Responsible for identifying the decision makers required for each agreement and ensuring contract compliance with all applicable regulations and policies. **Essential duties and Responsibilities:** + Draft, analyze, negotiate, and execute a broad range of complex international and domestic grant, research, and consulting agreements. + Ensure compliance and fiscal integrity of outgoing agreements through consultation with Legal, Ethics and Compliance, Finance, Risk Management, and business unit leaders. Identify roadblocks in contracting processes and workflows, provide recommendations to keep contracting operations efficient and transparent. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree and 2 + years of prior relevant contracting experience or Masters with 1+ years of experience. + Three+ years’ experience in healthcare contracts related role preferred. Advanced knowledge of federal regulations and contract management as they relate to institutions of higher education, medical centers, government, and/or industry. + Progressively responsible experience in contracts, research or grants administration in a university or directly related business or organization. Superior writing, verbal, organizational and time management skills. Superior customer-focus and collaboration skills. + Ability to lead through demanding and ambiguous circumstances with professionalism and proficiency.
