Our client, a leading organization in the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) sector, is seeking an EHS Professional 1 to join their team. As an EHS Professional 1, you will be part of the EHS department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: Competitive, based on experience

What's the Job?

Develop, propose, and implement EHS processes and methods. Plan and accomplish the rollout of EHS programs or projects, monitoring respective milestones. Analyze and monitor adherence to EHS standards in assigned organizations, preparing regular EHS reports. Analyze and report on changes in relevant EHS laws and regulations, recommending changes for internal standards. Contribute to internal and external EHS audits, supporting the accountable EHS officer.

What's Needed?

2+ years of relevant experience in EHS or a related field. Good knowledge in a technical field or business method, including a basic theoretical background. Ability to analyze, develop, test, or implement processes and technologies in your area of expertise. Strong communication skills to train employees and management effectively. Proactive approach to keeping abreast of all respective regulations and standards in regional or local law.
