Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for acting as the US Drives Site Leader for Motion Business. You will have oversight of the US Drives Local Divisions located in New Berlin, WI with support for sites in Louisville, KY and Portland, MA. The US Drives Site Leader will also provide support for Motion common Finance processes, reporting and efficiencies in Motion US. Directly reporting to the role is the Warehouse Manager, Facilities Manager, IS Manager and HR Manager with indirect reporting and oversight for the 3rd Party Logistics organization and the three local divisions at Drives Site.The work model for the role is: onsite. #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Motion Drives Division in New Berlin, WI and will have oversight of all US Motion Drives locations. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tAct as the primary ABB representative for internal and external stakeholders, including city officials and other authorities.•\tExperience in facilitating collaboration across different businesses/divisions/product groups, etc in support of a common approach to the site setup and culture.•\tStrong skills in communicating with all stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners, to ensure transparency and address any concerns during the transition.•\tDefine and maintain accurate and fair allocation keys for shared activities.•\tEnsure HR and Finance adhere to ABB policies, labor laws, and accounting standards. Support and drive Motion Finance Projects and act as liaison for Motion US finance organization.•\tOversee operational excellence with third-party logistics (3PL), prioritizing business needs and projects.•\tThe ability to foresee and plan for the long-term financial implications of the move, ensuring that the transition aligns with overall strategic goals.•\tExpertise in Operational Efficiency in managing resources and processes to minimize disruption and ensure a smooth transition, while maintaining cost-effectiveness and productivity.•\tManage Facility operations at local plant and warehouse and drive short-, mid-, and long-term development initiatives and drive and support sustainability goals.•\tManage local IS function related to common site systems, programs and IT infrastructure, including oversight of Wipro and other third-party IT providers.

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or other related field. \t10+ years of Senior Leadership experience, working in an Engineering or Technologies organization. \tSenior leadership experience in fostering a site culture of collaboration and trust based on a common People Strategy\tExcellent communication, organization and people leadership skills.\tExperience leading or heavy interaction with HR.\tDemonstrated strengths in the areas of strategic thinking, change management, emotional intelligence and coaching & developmentPreferred Qualifications: \tExperience with Variable Frequency Drives. \tExperience in Finance.
