We are seeking a skilled and experienced US Immigration Specialist to join our team based out of Orlando, Florida. The position will be hybrid and flexible to work from a home office for a portion of the time. This person will partner with HR Business Partners and Managers to support the immigration needs of all the businesses and provide immigration guidance across Siemens US. The Immigration Advisor will handle visas, track all case files, and keep them moving through the process on time while utilizing the immigration vendor. In addition, the Immigration Specialist will educate the businesses and will develop best practices to improve our level of service and efficiency.In this role, you will work a Hybrid work model reporting to our Orlando, FL office, with the flexibility to work from a home office for a portion of the time.\#TransformtheEverydayResponsibilities Include:Support the US-inbound immigration needs of all the sectors across the enterprise, file casework with the vendor, maintain their visa status, and where applicable manage the permanent residency process.Partner with HR to maintain compliance with immigration law. Where applicable, support filing a new visa petition in line with associated change(s).Serve as the immigration consultant for each segment and provide strategic solutions, working with outside counsel for more complex cases.Advise key stakeholders on US immigration regulation, alerts, updates, procedures, etc. to support the business in their headcount planning.Develop and leverage external networks to stay on top of US immigration updates and trends to benchmark and develop alternative solutions to immigration challenges.Monthly invoicing for outside vendorsMaintain monthly billing Excel spreadsheets & status reports.Evaluate current Siemens immigration processes, suggesting improvements where needed to improve operational objectives.Maintain centralized immigration folders on all visa and Green Card cases.Proactively communicate with employees and other relevant contacts regarding the status of their visa cases and extensions.Create and provide immigration training presentations to interested parties.Provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards for all work performed.Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degreeMinimum of 4 plus years of direct experience in immigration and processing of US work visasKnowledge of employment-based U.S. and global visas/work permits, permanent residency applications, and related immigration processes, forms, applications, laws, and compliance trendsProficiency in business systems tools such as Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Experience with HRIS and Immigration software databases.Proficiency in English (written and verbal)Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information.Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong organizational skills.International work experience a plus.Attention to detail, with research skills and ability to provide analysis of US Immigration related matters.Written and oral communication skills that strengthen and maintain positive internal and external customer relationships.Team building skills and the desire to work with various departments and foster collaboration.Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage workflow under tight deadlines and with conflicting demands.Work effectively and confidently with outside counsel, customers, and all levels of stakeholders. The pay range for this position is $73,500 - $126,000 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
