Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Cash Management Senior Manager to lead our cash management strategy and operations in the U.S. market. This role is pivotal in driving growth, efficiency, and client satisfaction across our U.S. and International/Global clients and subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cash management sales for corporations, proven experience in defining product strategy and development as well as in-depth knowledge of US payment systems and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Execution

Define and execute a growth plan targeting global corporations and both local and international (non-resident) subsidiaries.Lead and mentor a team of Cash Management Executives ensuring accountability and development.Establish strong relationships with Global and Local bankers covering the NY cash management client portfolio across different geographiesActively participate in global cash pooling initiatives with focus on product definition and design, compliance, tax, operations, agreements, procedures, product deployment and implementation, and continuous optimization of US physical and cross border cash pooling structures.Coordinate implementation of direct channel solutions such as SWIFT, Host to Host, e-banking platforms and .Own and continuously improve the Cash Management strategy, aligning with broader corporate objectives.Direct involvement in new product development roadmap to define key stakeholders, processes, new product sponsorship

Operational Excellence

Drive standardization and continuous improvement of cash management processes and procedures.Implement and monitor a resource plan to support growth and client onboarding efforts, including new high-value account initiatives.Actively engage with interdisciplinary teams to manage client and product requests (Finance, Operations, Compliance/Sanctions, Client onboarding, Legal, IT, Customer Service, etc) and represent Cash Management in the corresponding internal committees

Regulatory & Risk Management

Stay abreast of new and evolving regulations impacting cash management and payments.Continuous review and improvement of DDA and Service Agreements with legal, operations, compliance and/or other stakeholdersEnsure full compliance with KYC/AML policies and procedures in client onboarding and ongoing reviews. Participate in Compliance meetings as well as coordinate any due diligence information to comply with client reviews.

Innovation & Product Development

Actively participate in the definition and deployment of new cash management products tailored to client needs.Provide insights and feedback to global teams regarding market trends, regulatory shifts, and client demands in the U.S.Be well-informed on the latest updates on domestic and international standards, developments and trends (SWIFT, ISO, NACHA, etc.)

Required Qualifications

Bilingual in English and Spanish – verbal and written fluencyBS or BA in Finance, Accounting, Treasury, CTP preferred10+ years of progressive experience in Cash Management / Transaction Banking for Corporations.Experience leading small teams.Experience in a US branch of a European Bank is preferred.Deep understanding of US domestic payment methods and the corresponding clearing house rules, as well as, SWIFT, SWIFT for Corporates, host-to-host connectivity, and cash pooling and virtual account structures.Demonstrated experience in selling cash management solutions to US clients and executing strategic resource and revenue growth plans with Corporate clients.Strong knowledge of KYC/AML compliance and regulatory directives.Hands-on experience reviewing legal agreements and working with cross-functional teams.Proven ability to lead and inspire small teams in high-stakes environments.Strong project management and analytical skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a multinational bank or financial services institution with cross-border operations.Familiarity with U.S. and Latin American corporate banking requirements.

With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $185,000 to $215,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
