As a key contributor to Takeda's Digital Ethics and Compliance (DE&C) initiatives within the U.S. Business Unit (USBU), you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to advance key projects in privacy and Responsible AI. This is a unique opportunity to grow professionally while playing a crucial role in implementing cutting-edge privacy frameworks, conducting privacy impact assessments, and supporting AI reviews across dynamic business areas of USBU. **How you will contribute:** + Manage/oversee US Data Subject Requests (DSRs): Oversee and address DSRs, ensuring timely response to requests for access, correction, and deletion of data. + Review/oversee Responsible AI Assessments and Privacy Impact Assessments: Support the review processes while maintaining documentation and Records of Processing Activities (RoPAs), including the initial intake and review of requests. + Privacy SOPs, Notices, and Consent Forms: Regularly collect, assess, and update privacy-related documents to ensure compliance and relevance + Low-Risk Privacy Risk Assessments: Independently conduct or oversee the conduct of assessments and initiate processing activities using OneTrust (or other systems of record) + Business Partner Engagement: Partner with internal business and E&C colleagues to understand business requests and requirements, provide support, and escalate matters as needed. + Marketing and PSP Evaluations: Partner with business colleagues to meet business needs, including by reviewing marketing materials and Patient Support Programs (PSPs) to ensure compliance with privacy standards. + Develop Training Materials: Assist in creating and updating educational materials for employees and business units aligned with USBU/US privacy needs. + Privacy Training for New USBU Employees: Create and deliver training presentations outlining Takeda's privacy policy and guidance + Streamline processes in an effort to improve efficiency of existing processes and identify potential areas for improvement and agility + Enhance Privacy Frameworks: Support updates to existing privacy processes, including maintaining SharePoint sites with USBU-specific DE&C information, in line with the ever-changing regulatory landscape + Data Reporting: Compile and analyze privacy-related data to generate metrics that track activity and monitor compliance with existing frameworks and requirements + General Support: Provide response to internal inquiries on privacy matters and support the team with AI reviews, process management, reporting, and documentation. **Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Technology, Legal Studies, Information Security, or a related field is required + Minimum **3 years** of experience in privacy, compliance, digital ethics, or related roles (internships can be considered) + Familiarity with privacy regulations like HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, FCRA and emerging AI ethical frameworks required + Knowledge of data governance and experience working with platforms like OneTrust a plus + Exposure to AI Responsible Practices and digital innovation assessments a plus + Curious learner with a passion for ethical digital innovation and privacy. + Mindset of curiosity, learning agility and interest in innovative ways of doing things. + Strong communication skills, capable to interact with different levels of the organization. + Team player with strong collaborative and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and support internal stakeholders. + Effective within a matrixed organization. + Strong analytical skills and ability to apply judgment unsing the different frameworks and tools. + Strong project management and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects or initiatives with competing priorities. We are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. **For Location:** Cambridge, MA **U.S. Base Salary Range:** $111,800.00 - $175,670.00 The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives.
