Our Mission is to be a progressive healthcare partner serving with compassion, integrity, and excellence. **Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Responsibilities:** + The advanced nurse practitioner provides primary health care in the family practice realm by developing the role as the care provider and coordinator, educator, and consultant. The nurse practitioner functions to provide continuity of care, coordinates referrals, and ensures comprehensive health care of patients according to their needs through prevention, treatment, symptom management and education. + Regular Sunday Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider (1pm-5pm every Sunday) 4 hours per week. **License Requirements:** + Graduate of NLN accredited school or registered nursing. + Master’s Degree in Nursing required. + Must be licensed in the state of Iowa with a minimum of one year of experience. + ACLS/BLS a plus; certification is required as an employee. + Mandatory Reporter training certificate a plus; certification is required as an employee. **About Floyd Valley Healthcare:** Floyd Valley Healthcare is a 25-bed critical access hospital and is located in Le Mars, Iowa home of "The Ice Cream Capital of the World!"
