This commitment starts with ensuring our Home Health Aides and Nurses are highly skilled and competent. As our Part-Time RN Educator, you'll be instrumental in developing, implementing, and evaluating competency assessment programs for our field staff. What You'll Do: * Design and conduct comprehensive competency assessments for both new hires and existing Home Health Aides and Nurses. * Develop and deliver targeted in-service trainings and educational sessions based on identified learning needs and performance gaps, with a focus on home health best practices. * Utilize a variety of assessment methods, including direct observation, skills checklists, and scenario-based evaluations. * Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to Home Health Aides and Nurses to enhance their clinical skills and professional development in the home care setting. * Collaborate with the management team to ensure all staff meet required competencies and regulatory standards. * Maintain accurate records of all training and competency assessments. * Stay updated on current home health guidelines, best practices, and Indiana Department of Health regulations.
