We’re looking for a strategic, detail-oriented, and creative University Recruitment Specialist to attract, engage, and hire the next generation of talent at Colgate-Palmolive. This high-impact role blends early career recruiting, internship program management, and brand-driven campus engagement.
In addition to recruiting top student talent, you’ll lead recruitment event planning, manage vendor relationships, build school strategy, and co-create branded experiences with partners across Talent Attraction, Corporate Communications, HRBPs, and Social Media.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead and execute North America’s full-cycle recruiting and pipeline strategy for internships and leadership programs (e.g., GMDP, Summer Internship Program) in partnership with business leads, HRBPs, and career centers.
+ Own end-to-end management of the Summer Internship Program, from onboarding and engagement events to intern communications and senior leadership involvement, ensuring a world-class experience.
+ Develop and implement a data-driven school strategy, monitoring event ROI and applicant conversions to inform sourcing and resource allocation.
+ Build and maintain strategic relationships with career services, diversity groups, alumni, and internal stakeholders to support recruitment and align with business priorities.
+ Equip business leaders and HR partners with tools and best practices for identifying, assessing, and engaging top talent and lead cross-functional meetings to drive consistency and synergies.
+ Represent Colgate’s brand and values as an employer of choice across internal and external platforms including career fairs, conferences, social media, and content campaigns
+ Oversee candidate communications, the recruitment process, survey design and continuous process improvement, tracking key metrics to inform strategy.
+ Track metrics, monitor budgets, and analyze data to measure program effectiveness and inform strategy, partnering with People Analytics and other HR teams as needed.
+ Manage vendor relationships and oversee budgets for campus recruitment, events, and branded collateral (Handshake, LinkedIn, Glassdoor).
+ Lead awards submissions and external recognition efforts, partnering with Communications to showcase intern impact and program success.
+ Support additional HR initiatives and special projects aligned with the North America talent strategy.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree
+ 3+ years of experience in HR with at least 1+ years of experience with campus recruiting or internship program management
+ Proven experience managing recruitment events, communications, and candidate engagement
+ Familiarity with vendor coordination, procurement processes, and budget tracking
+ Strong project management and communication skills across multiple stakeholder groups
+ Proficiency with ATS and CRM platforms (e.g., Paradox, Handshake, RippleMatch)
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience supporting rotational or leadership development programs
+ Exposure to employer branding, social media, and/or content marketing
+ Experience writing award submissions or positioning a company for early talent recognition
+ Strong grasp of early talent market dynamics and campus trends
**Compensation and Benefits**
Salary Range $83,200.00 - $117,500.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
