**Unit Supervisor - Third Shift, Fabrication and Welding** **(7:30 PM - 6:00 AM), responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day operational activities and Lean Manufacturing practices. Manufacturing large scale wastewater Treatment Plant equipment (Carbone & Stainless Steel)**
**This role ensures adherence to production schedules, implementation of lean manufacturing practices, and effective inventory control. Supervisor plays a key role maintaining high-quality standards, and promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.**
**Onsite Position: 1828 Metcalf Ave. Thomasville, GA 31792**
**Responsibilities:**
**Lead, overseeing and coordinating staff and schedules - roughly 25 direct reports**
**Supervise and coordinate daily activities of fabrication and welding teams to meet production goals and quality standards.**
**Working knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.**
**Implement and sustain lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.**
**Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure material availability and accuracy, minimizing downtime and excess stock.**
**Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback to employees**
**Identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions**
**Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols**
**Managing budget and expenses**
**Conducting regular meetings and providing updates to management**
**Staying updated on industry trends and implementing best practices**
**Conducting regular equipment and facility maintenance checks**
**Quality Control:**
**Implementing and maintaining quality control measures**
**Ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations**
**Conducting quality inspections and addressing any issues or concerns**
**Implementing corrective actions to improve product quality**
**Team Management:**
**Understand team dynamics and effective management practices. Supervisors should be adept at balancing individual tasks with overseeing team performance.**
**Conflict Resolution: Ability to address conflicts within the team professionally and constructively.**
**Motivational Skills: Inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best.**
**Supervisors often encounter changing priorities and unexpected challenges. Being adaptable and flexible is crucial.**
**Decision Making: Make informed decisions based on organizational goals and guidelines.**
**Qualifications:**
**Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. In-depth understanding of inventory management principles and practices.**
**Lean Six Sigma/Continuous Improvement practices**
**Effective communication and interpersonal skills.**
**Preferred: SAP and Workday experience**
**Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field with at least 4 years experience, with at least 1 year experience as a people manager or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts**

**The estimated salary range for this position is $72,300.00 to $85,000.00 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
