Utilizes various software programs to facilitate efficient workflow. Works under the direct supervisor of the RN, performs basic care activities. Assignment will include support for multiple Units each shift. Designated as the “Revenue Lead”, additional responsibilities will include revenue reconciliation and charge-error correction as specified by departmental process and hospital policy. Ensures communication among care team. Coordinates patient care activities for ordered procedures using the appropriate information system. Uses appropriate information systems & software to assist with patient activities such as scheduling, meals, etc. Maintains an inventory of supplies in accordance with established levels, as well as special orders, and charges appropriately. Assists the Charge Nurse/Clinical supervisor in timely discharge of patients. Will answer call lights and provide basic assistance to the patients as trained and competent. Performs other duties consistent with purpose of job as directed. **Requirements:** **Education:** The level of knowledge ordinarily acquired through the completion of high school level courses.
