We want you to apply! **Job Summary and Qualifications** What You Will Do in This Role: + The unit secretary is responsible and accountable for the daily clerical operations of the nursing unit, performs receptionist duties and maintains supplies/equipment for the unit. + The unit secretary participates in a positive patient experience including supporting RNs in the delivery of patient care items and providing meal companionship to patients. What Qualifications You Will Need: + High School Diploma + American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification required upon hire + Public contact and clerical experience preferred + Excellent interpersonal skills and computer skills required + Ability to prioritize and manage multiple functions preferred + Knowledge of medical terminology preferred + Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and multi-line phone preferred Overland Park Regional Medical Center (https://oprmc.com) is a 340+ bed facility offering acute medical services to our patients.
