* Southwestern Vermont Medical Center seeks a Unit Coordinator for Same Day Surgery Department. This individual will have the ability to effectively operate a variety of Microsoft Office, Outlook software, Meditech HIS software,Centricity, Optima, Achfax, and Athena required.Ability to effectively use the SVHC intranet to access the policies and procedures required.Ability to effectively prioritize a wide variety of simultaneous job functions with frequent interruptions required.Knowledge of HIPAA regulations required.Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking patient care unit required. Requirements: * Minimum Education: * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. * Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. * Minimum Work Experience: * One year in a support position in a health care environment required. * Health care college education can replace work experience requirement on a one-year-to-one-year basis.
