(Cold, Snow, Rain and heat).** + Experience in the installation of Maxcell, Microproduct, innerduct and fiber optic cable in a Data Center environment. + Experience in fiber splicing and testing. + Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, always with an eye on improvement. + Provide structured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders. + Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain Data Center cleanliness. + Follow all production, safety and quality standards, codes, and industry best practices. + Collaborate with various Stakeholders to remove project obstacles. + Reading and comprehending blueprints, building documentation/redline work and cable schedules. + Broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies. **SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS** + Knowledge and use of basic telecom hand tools. + Must be capable of leading a crew of 5-10 technicians. + Must understand customer service, perform job walks and communicate with customer for job requirements. + Accept responsibility for the outcome of work performed by him/her and/or by employee that directly report to him/her. + Clear understanding of job safety requirements. + Be able to read and understand project design documents. + Ability to install various types of innerduct (EX: Maxcell, 1.25" ID and Microduct) and fiber optic cable. + Capable of maintaining orderly paperwork, capable of running midsize to large projects and service jobs. + Possess skills to dress all types of cable and perform all types of terminations and should include basic understanding of fiber equipment, all types of cable and fiber terminations. + Basic understanding of both copper and fiber cable testing and troubleshooting. + Track and review timesheets for your crew. + Maintaining paperwork and running service jobs + Effectively communicate with Foreman, Leads, Technicians and Superintendent + Track lessons learned as they occur + Coordinates with QAQC on quality status walks + Knowledge and understanding of Project Close Out + Identify the strengths and weaknesses of crew members + Must be able to driver company vehicles and the ability to pull and back up trailers. + Must be able to blow fiber optic cables + Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future **Relocation assistance and sign-on bonuses may be available on select positions only, for qualified candidates based on role requirements and experience.** \#directline \#cbredirectlinereferral CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Union Data Center Lead Technician position is $38.40 per hour and the maximum salary for the Union Data Center Lead Technician position is $43.20 per hour. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
