In this newly created role, we are looking for a highly energetic, detail oriented, analytical, passionate, self-starter, **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.** · Decommissioning of network and cabling infrastructure in a Data Center environment · Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, always with an eye on improvement · Provide structured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders · Exhibit quality workmanship on all work and maintain Data Center cleanliness · Follow all production, safety and quality standards, codes and industry best practices · Collaborate with various Stakeholders to remove project obstacles · Reading and comprehending blueprints and building documentation/redline work · Broad understanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies · 4 + years In-depth knowledge of Cat 5, Cat 6 · 3 +years of in-depth knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment, such as VFL, power meter, Fluke Versive 5000 and OTDR · 3+ years’ experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies · 3+ years’ experience troubleshooting cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords **Lead Technician** + Strong background performing large scale data center projects. + Strong background in leading teams in commercial style projects. + Oversee assigned projects and performance of technicians assigned + Lead installs to completion + Validates material required to complete the build project + Coordinate and plan with teams, request material for installs supported by logistics **SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS** · Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency · Must have experience working in data centers, telco, IT operations, or related technical field · Any server, OS, Network, or data center certification (including in-progress) are a plus · Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) · Must be a professional, accurate, urgent and provide quality · Ability to work alone or in teams with minimal instruction **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** · Primarily walking, standing, and bending with some sitting · Ability to communicate effectively with verbal, visual and listening skills · Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required equipment as well as to operate computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments · Able to lift and carry heavy equipment, up to 50 pounds · Ability to climb ladders and work on raised platform Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future \#directline **Equal Employment Opportunity:** CBRE has a long-standing commitment to providing equal employment opportunity to all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, veteran status, political belief, or any other basis protected by applicable law. **Candidate Accommodations:** CBRE values the differences of all current and prospective employees and recognizes how every employee contributes to our company’s success.
