This role involves provisioning and maintaining Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity Connection, IM&P, and Emergency Responder platforms, as well as supporting analog and digital telephony systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring reliable communication solutions.ResponsibilitiesProvision and configure telephones and mailboxes in Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Unity ConnectionPerform moves, adds, and changes for phones and mailboxes, including cleanup of telephone descriptions, lines, and appearancesTroubleshoot analog telephony issues, including tracing analog lines, elevator lines, and Blue Light phones on campusesTroubleshoot digital telephony issues, including connectivity between telephony endpoints and the network, digital intercoms, classroom wall phones, office phones, and Blue Light phonesAssist in replacing legacy phones and voice gateways with newer modelsManage e-waste by moving old phones from IDF rooms to warehouses, logging serial numbers/MAC addresses, and packaging for e-waste pickupEnsure system stability and performance across distributed environmentsProvide technical support during system upgrades and incident resolution initiativesQualifications and RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA Collaboration) are a plus3–5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection, IM&P, and Emergency ResponderProficiency in provisioning, configuring, and troubleshooting analog and digital telephony systemsStrong understanding of telephony endpoint management, network connectivity, and interoperabilityFamiliarity with security best practices for communication systemsDetail-oriented with experience in inventory management and e-waste processesBenefits and PerksPay Rate: $50 – $55 per hourHealth, Dental, and Vision insuranceEligible for a 401(k) planWeekly Pay with direct depositTraining & GrowthYour New Organization:Join a leading, open-admission institution serving a diverse and growing metropolitan area through high-quality, affordable education and workforce training.
