Unified Communications Manager
CTG is seeking to fill a Unified Communications Manager opening for our client in Richmond, VA. Location: Richmond, VA (hybrid remote) Duration: Permanent Placement Duties: Lead strategy and operations for unified communications systems, including mobile device management, alert/alarm integration, video teleconferencing, and telehealth support. Drive the development of communication and collaboration programs in partnership with clinical and IT teams. Establish governance structures to ensure stakeholder engagement and feedback are integrated into ongoing initiatives. Use data analytics to monitor usage, identify improvements, and optimize user experience. Maintain vendor relationships to stay abreast of mobility industry trends and innovations. Provide leadership and direction to the mobility services and video conferencing teams. Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion are embedded in communication strategies and team operations. Promote safety and high-reliability principles across areas of responsibility. Perform additional duties and participate in special projects as needed. Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Solid understanding of clinical communication technologies and mobile platforms. Proficient in analyzing data to guide operational decisions. Ability to manage change and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Skilled in problem solving, critical thinking, and organizational decision-making. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in a healthcare or IT environment. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a relevant IT field. At least two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience. Experience with clinical systems and workflows strongly preferred. Additional preference for seven (7) years of IT experience and five (5) years in leadership roles. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field. A combination of education and experience may be considered. Master’s degree and relevant certifications preferred. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
