Job Description

Following an internal promotion, we are looking for a Unified Communications (UC) Specialist to join our high-performing team at our Sydney head office.  In this role you will serve as a key Subject Matter Expert in the UC technology stack, working on multiple projects & key BAU support activities.  You will draw on your exceptional customer service & troubleshooting skills to support with business in Level 2 / 3 support issues within the UC domain.

Top Role Accountabilities:

Acts as trusted advisor for Unified Communications technologiesBuild, configuration, maintenance & troubleshooting of the banks Unified Communication & Collaboration Services including:MS Teams Voice systemsGenesys Contact CentreVideo Conference & Audio-Visual systems (Polycom & Microsoft Teams)Teleconference & audio conference systemsTrading Systems (Unigy & Verint)Session Border Controllers (Voice Security Gateways)PABX Voice systemsPhysical handset & SoftphonesBranch communication & telephony network infrastructurePhysical handset & SoftphonesASC recording systemLead & participate in projects Including the research & testing provisioning of new technology where requiredCollaborate in sprints & daily stand-ups, tackle blockers & deliver project tasksLiaise with external vendors as requiredProvide regular review, analysis & reporting of system availabilityCreate & maintain technical documentation for new installations & systems changes

To be successful you will have:

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Voice / Unified Communications / System Administration roleExperience supporting MS Teams Voice & PABX systemsExperience in the administration & configuration of Contact Centre systems with Genesys Contact Centre knowledge preferredExperience with telephony infrastructure including AudioCodes SBCsExperience supporting voice recording platformsAdvanced troubleshooting skills & experienceExperience supporting trade floor environmentsSound technical documentation skillsAn understanding of ITIL frameworks & principles & change processesAn understanding of Project Management methodologies such as Prince 2 or Agile/ScrumExcellent communication skills with a strong customer focusWilling & able to be on call when required
