Unified Communication and Collaboration Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Unified Communication and Collaboration Engineer to manage and secure our email, messaging, and collaboration platforms with our CIS team in London. You’ll work across Exchange (On-Prem and Online), Office 365, Azure AD, Intune, and key Microsoft 365 tools to keep our environment running smoothly, securely, and in line with compliance standards.

 

The Role:

Manage Exchange On-Prem and Online in a hybrid setup. Administer email gateways and Mimecast for security and compliance. Automate tasks and manage environments using Exchange PowerShell. Implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies. Maintain shared mailboxes, distribution lists, and email permissions. Administer OneDrive, SharePoint, and Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI). Support enterprise content sharing and process automation. Manage Active Directory (AD), Azure AD (AAD), and Entra ID. Set up and maintain Conditional Access policies and RBAC for secure authentication. Support DNS and DHCP services for connectivity Administer Microsoft Intune for mobile device and application management Enforce security policies for corporate and BYOD devices Ensure system availability, security, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS) Troubleshoot messaging and collaboration issues Support disaster recovery and backup for communication services.

 

What You’ll Bring:

Minimum of 5 years in Unified Communications, Collaboration, or Messaging. Deep knowledge of Exchange (On-Prem and Online), Office 365, and Email Security. Strong skills in PowerShell scripting and automation. Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, Conditional Access, DNS, and DHCP. Expertise in managing Microsoft 365 services (SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Platform). Hands-on Intune experience for endpoint security
