About the job

Within Chubb Operations Hub for Continental Europe, based in Madrid, you will act as an Operations Technician for our Iberian branches, ensuring the highest standards of quality, service delivery, and accuracy within the operations function. You will review instructions received from the Iberia Underwriting team or brokers, accurately enter premium bookings, and prepare policy documentation. Additionally, you will provide technical and administrative support for the management of the Online SME portfolio across Financial Lines, Casualty, Cyber, and Marine, with potential extension to other Lines of Business (LOBs).

Key responsibilities:

System Management:Manage user system maintenance within agreed SLAs, including setup, amendments, and access removal, demonstrating attention to detail and operational excellence.Oversee system setup for new products and associated policy documentation/invoice production, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.Maintain ownership of relevant systems, including template management, product and code mappings, and segment references, ensuring seamless interfaces with back-end systems.Process Optimization:Adopt a continuous improvement mindset to review processes, aiming to automate, simplify, and eliminate non-value steps, leveraging big data planning and operational excellence.Monitor outsourced work elements, track root cause analysis of inefficiencies, and recommend improvements, applying data analysis and troubleshooting skills.Broker Network Management:Manage Broker Network setup and maintenance, including granting access, amendments, removals, and providing assistance, utilizing customer service support and customer knowledge.Respond to general Broker correspondence within SLA, ensuring service delivery effectiveness.Quality Assurance:Undertake audits and Quality Control checks for both retained and outsourced work elements, ensuring the highest standards of delivery.Take personal responsibility for Quality Control of own and outsourced work, applying attention to detail and records management.Credit Control and Reporting:Investigate and resolve credit control queries within SLA, using troubleshooting and time management skills.Produce relevant SOX reporting for Team Leader sign-off, ensuring compliance and accuracy.Knowledge Development:Stay current on product knowledge for SME products managed on Ignite/ICT and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).Proactively develop knowledge of all relevant lines of business to facilitate accurate processing for retained and outsourced work elements.

Requirements: 

 

Native or bilingual level in French.Business-level English (advanced).An additional European language (German/Spanish/Dutch/Portuguese/Italian) is preferred.Experience in a processing role, particularly in following written instructions, data entry, and document/report drafting.Previous Commercial Insurance experience is preferred.
