About the Role

• Handles new business applications and agency enquiry effectively and efficiently.
• Supports function head to coordinate daily operations.
• Contributes in developing and implementing plans and goals for the department.
• Promotes digitalization initiatives of the Company to strive for processes simplification and operational efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. New business functions (60%)

Provides prompt underwriting and enquiry services on new business in order to support our agency in doing business;Underwrites new business including medical cases within authority;Provides support to UNI related issues, including but not limiting to case review, pending analysis, make adjustment regarding appeal from agents and higher approval cases from Hong Kong Operations;Provides support to Hong Kong Operations for UNI related issues and processes x-batch cases;Prepares UNI reports, such as CRS, FATCA, AML checking and SNO reports.Draft SOP(s) and guidelines related to Underwriting Department.Provides internal training to agencies.

2. Handle requests from Macau government bodies (15%)

Conducts all administrative work to relevant parties in a timely manner;Provides support to supervisors in handling all requests from relevant government bodies effectively and efficiently; implements best practices across all levels.

3. Innovative projects engagement (15%)

Establishes and maintains good relationships with HK support team;Aligns processes, resources-planning and department goals with overall strategy;Supports and promotes the TDA and other initiatives to strive for operational efficiency.

4. Other responsibilities (10%)

Performs other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and / or other requirements.

Minimum Job Requirements:

University graduate with 4~5 years experience in the insurance or financial industry;Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills;Presentable and effective verbal and written communication skills;Effective organization & planning skills;Strong staff coaching / counseling skills;Administration knowledge in responsible area(s);Computer-literacy
