Duties may include but are not limited to:

Solicits new and renewal submissions from brokersDetermines terms and conditions and complex rating plansBinds coverageDocuments the underwriting filesHandles more complex files and portfolios within underwriting authority

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Preferably at least 3-5 years underwriting experienceExperience with multiple lines of insuranceBachelor’s degree

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of insurance industryKnowledge of underwriting concepts, practices, and proceduresMicrosoft Word, Excel, and OutlookOral and written communication skillsNegotiation skillsMarketing skillsLeadership experience through work or involvement in community service, athletics, clubs, or other activities preferredTechnically adept/digitally savvy

 

The pay range for the role is $101,700 to $172,900. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
