We are looking to employ a Terrorism & Political Violence Underwriter, to be based in our London office and to work with us on a full-time basis.
The key purpose of the role is to support the current and continued growth of the UKI Terrorism and Political Violence team, you would be required
To underwrite existing renewal accounts, solve broker enquires and underwriting tasks. Attend renewal meetings, broker training and general business development activities in support of the continued growth of the product line. To work closely with the business development managers to assist with broker enquires and developing new opportunities and relationships To work closely with underwriters in other lines of business across the UK&I to maximise cross sell opportunitiesKey Responsibilities:
Assist with driving the UKI PVT business growth and profitability through focussed distribution and marketing activities. Assist with underwriting a sustainable balance of business in support of the UKI PVT teams revenue, profitability, growth and production objectives. Assist with maximising opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling within Chubb UK&I through internal marketing at cross class meetings and relationship management. Develop and manage key external producer relationships.The role is suitable for a self-motivated, confident and dynamic individual. Key requirements for the role include;
Experience of underwriting Terrorism and Political Violence Experience/developing experience in business development Adaptable and resilient to changes in market conditions/business requirementsStrong team player and ability to build strong relationships quickly.Excellent verbal and oral communication skillsACII preferred though not essentialA Levels or higher
