Underground Work Control Coordinator (122) Requisition ID **122** - Posted - **MU-MA Work Control** - **Carlsbad, NM, US - WIPP Site** - **Maintenance**  **Overview** **Be part of the nation’s only repository for the disposal of nuclear waste known as Transuranic (TRU) waste.** Salado Isolation Mining Contractors, LLC (SIMCO), managing and operating contractor of the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant (WIPP) is currently seeking a qualified individual to serve as a **_Underground Work Control Coordinator_** and join our team located in Carlsbad, New Mexico. **Responsibilities** The successful candidate will be responsible for building work control documents (WCDs) to support activity-level work at the Waste Isolation Pilot Project in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The successful candidate will frequently interface with support organizations, Subject Matter Experts, and Maintenance Admins to obtain complete, auditable WCDs for dispositioning records. The candidate will also be responsible for sending Trending and Feedback Notices along with Out of Service Reporting and PM Request Form Processing to Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering, while working safely in the underground. This includes the following: • Running reports to coordinate with Work Week Managers and Underground Schedulers to build and validate weekly schedules • Assembling work packages with appropriate WCDs, drawings, and supporting forms and information • Filing work packages and maintaining organization • Coordinating with various groups to ensure work packages are processed through the system in a timely manner • Assisting the Requisitioner with staging materials for planned work • Processing WCD records for Records Inventory and Dispositioning • Maintaining all qualification requirements **Minimum Requirements** _These requirements must be met to be considered for this posting. Uploaded resumes and completed applications are the means of determination._ • Bachelor’s degree, or • Associate’s degree with four (4) years of related experience, or • High School Diploma or Equivalency with eight (8) years of related experience is required • Demonstrated experience with the use of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Pro • Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments • Excellent time management and prioritization skills • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written _Must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in limited circumstances.
