Summary Chenega Naswik International, LLC has immediate openings for an Unarmed Security Officer to provide security services in support of the National Park Service in Washington, D.C. Responsibilities Perform random patrol of building interior/exterior/external grounds. Manage Access Control and Surveillance (entry/exit/inside/outside of building) Monitoring personnel access (entry/exit), visitor control and screening Monitor Security and Emergency Alarms Operate security equipment, X-Ray machines, magnetometers, and trace detection equipment. Advise and report breaches of security hardware to include broken locks, doors, non-working cameras, communications radios, etc. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Possess a high school education or equivalent (such as GED Equivalency certificate) and two (2) years of relevant experience. Possess a current Washington DC Security Guard License with District of Columbia or Virgina (or be willing for us to sponsor you to obtain one). Speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training material. Must be able to work flexible hours.) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
