Under the general supervision of the Ultrasound Supervisor, and guidance of the Lead Technologist, the US Technologist will perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures as requested. The technologist will also perform any job-related functions (clerical, transportation, training and cleaning), as needed to provide optimal patient care while maintaining hospital values.

Required qualifications:
Coursework/Training: INPATIENT & OUTPATIENT ULTRASOUND: Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or equivalent education/experience.INPATIENT & OUTPATIENT ULTRASOUND: Graduate of a diagnostic medical sonography or ultrasound program, and 5 years experience in a high volume acute care setting.National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire.National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.6 months of MATERNAL FETAL TESTING: Acute 2nd and 3rd trimester OB experience.Preferred qualifications:
Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited ultrasound program.RDMS certified in both Abdomen and OB-GYN upon hire.2 years of Experience performing diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures in a high volume acute-care setting.Why Join Providence?
