Ultrasound Imaging Specialist Senior

This position will provide support to both Corewell Health West and Corewell Health South regions.

Scope of work 

Plans and develops modality orientation and training programs and is directly involved in the assessment process. Develops new strategies for revenue/research opportunities in the modality. In collaboration with radiology/cardiovascular management and the education department, facilitates continuous improvement processes and assess modality employee educational needs and requirements. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure when required. Provides education for research to physicians and employees in operation of medical equipment and protocols as needed. Also, acts as a liaison to ancillary areas involved in Ultrasound. Serves as a liaison to Ultrasound vendors.

Qualifications

Required Associate's Degree related field or equivalent

5 years of relevant experience clinical Required

3 years of relevant experience modality-specific Required

Previous training and/or education experience Preferred

Supervisory or lead technologist role experience Preferred

CRT-Vascular Sonographer (VS) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Vascular Surgery and Cardiovascular Imaging Upon Hire required Or

CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Vascular Surgery and Cardiovascular Imaging Upon Hire required

CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Ultrasound (US) Upon Hire required

AHA or ARC Basic Life Support within 90 Days of hire
