Epredia's Digital Pathology sales team is growing!
We are searching for an experienced Account Executive to cover UK geographies, creating awareness for our new and exciting offering within the Digital Pathology space.
This is a hunter role and your objective will be to grow sales, gain new customers, support customers in the field and create awareness for our products. This is a great opportunity which could lead to future leadership roles within our Digital Pathology unit.
Position Overview
As a Key Account Executive for Epredia Digital Pathology Solutions, you will drive growth in the UK by conducting in-person and remote customer visits, showcasing our portfolio including Digital Pathology Workflow Solutions, AI diagnostics, and research software platforms. You will be responsible for lead generation, sales execution, and customer relationship management, utilizing your expertise to become a trusted partner in the Anatomic Pathology community.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular in-person customer visits using presentations to promote Epredia’s Digital Pathology and Software solutions.Generate new business through proactive cold calling and structured prospecting.Manage sales across defined UK territories, negotiating contracts and closing deals to exceed sales targets.Execute product demos and collaborate with Application Specialists to develop sales strategies.Support customers throughout the purchasing process, including contract negotiation and pricing discussions.Manage complex deals and tenders, engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels.Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activities and forecasts using Salesforce (CRM).Create and execute account and territory plans, tracking competitor activity and identifying growth opportunities.Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Marketing for local and international event support.Who You Are
5-10 years commercial experience in AP markets of which 3-5 years supporting digital pathology / AOI software products.Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer training and satisfaction.Minimum 5 years’ experience in Anatomic Pathology diagnostics/research labs or sales in IVD markets.Effective planner with strong prioritization, networking, and stakeholder management skills.Results-driven, self-motivated, with a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.Willingness to travel up to 80% across the UK/Ireland, with occasional travel in Europe.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English (written and spoken).Holds a clean driving license.Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Biology, Biotechnology, Bioengineering, Life Sciences, or a related field or relevant experience.Strong understanding of the UK Digital/Anatomic Pathology market and workflows.Hands-on knowledge of Digital Pathology tools and their application in diagnostic or research environments.Skilled in forecasting, quoting, responding to tenders, and managing revenue targets.Proficient in CRM tools, particularly Salesforce.Clean Driving License for own territory.Ability to travel 80% within the UK / Ireland, occasional European travel.TO ALL RECRUITMENT AGENCIES: Epredia does not accept unsolicited third-party resumes.
