UI/UX Designer
Job Description SummaryAs an experienced UI Designer with solid UX knowledge, you will be responsible for the design and development of the user interface for our internal platform and its associated applications. You will play a key role in defining the visual architecture, ensuring that the products meet user expectations while adhering to the technical and functional constraints of the energy industry.
You will work closely with functional architects, developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure a consistent and seamless user experience.

Job Description

The energy transition, particularly the decarbonization of electricity, is leading to a growing share of distributed renewable energy in the energy mix. This shift requires increased flexibility, posing new challenges for grid operators to ensure safe and resilient operation of the transmission system. One of the key drivers of this transition is the digital transformation of the power grid, specifically through the digitization of automated protection and control functions.

In this context, the management of an ever-evolving product portfolio and the growing demand for predictive maintenance are significantly impacting all software solutions for grid management, with a focus on hardware-agnostic, OS-agnostic, and virtualization technologies.

Essential Responsibilities

User Interface Design (UI):Define and design the overall look and feel of our platform and applications through a Design System (visual identity, UI components, structure/layout).Ensure visual consistency across all our applications while adhering to internal guidelines and best design practices.User Experience Enhancement (UX):Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand user needs and incorporate them into our interfaces.Design user-friendly, intuitive, and efficient user journeys, taking into account the technical and functional constraints of the energy sector.Create interactive mockups to illustrate the proposed solutions.Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with developers to ensure an accurate implementation of the design and guarantee a high-quality user experience.Actively participate in reviews of deliverables and provide constructive feedback to the teams.Take into account user feedback and market trends to continuously improve interfaces.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's DegreeMinimum 5 years of experience as a UI Designer, with solid UX knowledge.

Desired Characteristics

Experience in the energy sectorProficiency in using design tools such as Figma and Balsamiq.Strong knowledge of responsive design principles and web & mobile constraints.Ability to work on complex projects requiring the visualization of technical data and information.Creativity, attention to detail, and an eye for aesthetics.Team-oriented, with strong collaborative skills.Excellent communication abilities, enabling an effective interaction with both technical and non-technical teams.Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Our teams are international, with members located in the Americas, Europe, and India.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% variable incentive bonus annually. This posting is expected to close on 9/8/25.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
